Nevoc was my first band back in Puerto Rico.

Our influences: The Cure, Joy Division, Death, Emperor, The Birthday Party, The Cocteau Twins, The Verve, Slowdive and Bauhaus.

I guess our sound was something like post-punk-black metal-goth

We only played 3 shows.

Members:
Juan Onesimo- Bass
Andres Lugo-Drums
Alex Pons- Vocals
Reynaldo Gonzalez- Guitars

We started rehearsing at Juan's house in el barrio Islote Arecibo, PR. At that time Juan was only 15 years old. We made a few rehearsal recordings and we decided to find a vocalist. We found this guy from Quebradillas, Puerto Rico call Alex Pons. At that time we were listening goth, death/black metal and post punk. Alex was playing in a band and we went to see one of the band performances and was love at the first time. Reynaldo went to his home several times trying to convince him to joy our band and finally he said yes. I was in a trip in Dominican Republic and I received the news, Rey told me Andres, Alex will join the band. Then all our rehearsals were in el parquesito de la marginal where the photos was taken.

The tracks were recorded in a boombox at Jonathan Rios house our first fan. Sadly I don't remember the name of the tracks and the papers with Alex lyrics have disappeared forever.
